We believe that science becomes more meaningful and impactful when knowledge is shared, communities participate, and innovative solutions are translated into action. Our work focuses on building a more climate-resilient, biodiverse and sustainable future through practical, community-driven approaches. We work across key areas including climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, WASH, renewable energy, environmental education and sustainable livelihoods. TROTTER brings together scientific knowledge, local and indigenous practices, community participation and innovative technologies to address complex environmental and social challenges. We work with communities, institutions, local governments, researchers, development partners and other stakeholders to turn knowledge into solutions that are locally relevant and scalable. From strengthening climate resilience and protecting ecosystems to promoting sustainable livelihoods and environmental awareness, our approach is rooted in the belief that lasting change happens when science reaches people—and when people's knowledge, experiences and ideas contribute back to science.
